SPECIAL THANKS TO:
Local Stock Car Driver “Rolling for the
Raptors”

July 16, 2009, Hastings, MN.   Molly Rhoads was
invited to participate in the Fourth Annual Raptor Bowl at
Brit’s Pub on Wednesday July 15.  Rhoads was invited
by former MN Vikings All-Pro Linebacker and Event
Director Matt Blair to join the US Olympic Curling team
and other celebrities, which included but not limited to
former Vikings, Twins and MN Wild players, to compete
in the celebrity portion of the Raptor Bowl.  Rhoads,
who races in the NASCAR Whelen All American Series in
the Super Late Model Division throughout Minnesota and
Wisconsin was teamed up with former Minnesota Wild
Defenseman, Brad Bombardir, Jason Smith from the US
Curling team and Viktor, Minnesota Vikings mascot.
After competing in the celebrity portion, Rhoads and the
other celebrities were referees for the lawn bowling
tournament that consisted of 24 teams.  Proceeds from
the live auction and the lawn bowling tournament
benefited The Raptor Center at the University of
Minnesota.

The Raptor Bowl IV was sponsored by DeWaay and
LandCor Companies and presented by KARE 11 and
WCCO Radio to benefit The Raptor Center at the
University of Minnesota.  The Raptor Center specializes
in the medical care, rehabilitation and conservation of
eagles, hawks, owls and falcons.  Please visit www.
TheRaptorCenter.org for more information on The Raptor
Center.
